Lab testing, cGMP and what gets checked on every lot
Answer first: every JellyFil lot is manufactured in an FDA-registered, cGMP-compliant US facility and screened by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited third-party laboratory before release. The current run, EJF/26-Q3/0842, cleared at 98.9% active purity by UHPLC-DAD.

The facility standard
JellyFil is produced in a facility registered with the US Food and Drug Administration and operating under current Good Manufacturing Practice. In practice cGMP is less about a certificate on a wall and more about paperwork discipline: incoming material identity checks, written batch records, controlled environmental conditions, equipment cleaning logs and retained samples from every run. It is the difference between a facility that can tell you what happened on a given Tuesday and one that cannot.
Registration is not approval. The FDA registers supplement facilities and inspects them; it does not approve the products they make. Anyone who tells you a supplement is FDA approved is either confused or selling something.
What gets tested on each lot
- Identity. Each botanical input is confirmed against its reference before it enters the blend. Substitution is the oldest problem in the botanical trade and identity testing is the answer to it.
- Potency and purity. The active fraction is assayed by UHPLC-DAD. Lot EJF/26-Q3/0842 returned 98.9%.
- Heavy metals. Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury by ICP-MS, with a release threshold of < 0.6 ppm (ICP-MS).
- Microbiology. Total plate count, yeast and mould, and specified pathogens, held within USP <2021> limits.
- Pesticide residues. Screened on the botanical inputs against the facility panel.
- Allergen and dietary controls. Dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and non-GMO input status confirmed at intake.
- Physical release checks. Weight uniformity, appearance, seal integrity and moisture, which is the one that matters most for a pectin gummy.
Who runs the third-party testing
Halyard Assay Group, Inc., an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, performs the independent screening on each run. Accreditation to that standard is about the laboratory's competence and method validation rather than about the product, and it is the reason a third-party number carries more weight than an in-house one.
The result is issued as a certificate of analysis with an ID. For the current run that is HAG-26-0842-A, and any buyer can request a copy through the verification page. We publish the certificate ID before purchase rather than after, which is a small thing that turns out to be rare.
Sourcing
The six botanicals come from established extract suppliers who provide a certificate of analysis with each shipment, and every incoming lot is re-tested on arrival rather than accepted on the supplier's word. Maca is sourced from Peruvian growers, ashwagandha from Indian producers with documented supply chains, and the remaining inputs from suppliers with a US distribution presence. L-arginine is a synthetic free-form amino acid, which makes its identity and purity straightforward to verify.
Where a supplier changes, the new input is qualified against the reference before it is used, and the change is recorded in the batch file. That record is what makes a lot number mean anything.
What we do not claim
We do not claim organic certification, because the inputs are not all certified organic. We do not claim NSF or Informed Sport certification, because JellyFil is not enrolled in either program. We do not claim clinical validation of the finished product, because no trial has been run on this specific formula. Testing tells you what is in the bottle and what is not. It does not tell you the product works, and the two get conflated constantly in this industry.
